Last time I wrote copy for this home I wrote the following pithy line:
You've been hearing if for a couple of years now. It's a slight whisper blowing across Elliot Bay that says:
"West Seattle... it's really great here... seriously... no, it's not that far..."
You know what? I stand by this statement. There is plenty to enjoy up and down West Seattle - from Admiral’s northern stronghold to South West Seattle’s bright star, Westwood Village, this neighborhood is one of Seattle’s best. Rent this home now to have easy access to all of it.
What adds to the warm coziness of this lovely abode? Real hardwood floors, not those snap together pressed wood like planks all those townhouses have. These were side nailed to the floorboards in 1940 and refinished by local artists in 2015. Look at them glow.
This house also has a newly remodeled bathroom. That's right, subway tile, porcelain, glass, AND marble. Your eyes are not lying to you: it's real pretty. The two bedrooms are also nicely sized. Each bedroom can fit a queen sized bed and a desk, dresser, or whatever else you want to put in a bedroom. Or maybe you only need one bedroom and want a massive walk in closet - the space is flexible enough to make it happen. A washer and dryer also live in this house, meaning you won't have to drag your stuff to the basement and risk a spider attack anymore. Clean clothes, at home, sans spiders.
Can you believe it? This house has an eating nook in the kitchen. It's big enough for a four person table, so you can invite other humans over to bask in the glow of the great deal you've scored in a quiet but walkable neighborhood. You can show off your close proximity to White Center, which you’ve heard all your friends talking about as a fun place to hang out but you haven’t yet visited. You haven’t had your life changed by a burrito from a truck and corn from a shed, followed by strong drinks with awesome neighbors. You’ll love it!
Maybe you want something even closer to home? Head over to Westwood Village or one of the local watering holes like Locol Barley & Wine or The Westy. This house has a 77 walkscore, which is pretty good for most of the quieter parts of Seattle.
If that isn’t enough, you'll have a wood burning fireplace. How adorable is that?! Cozy up on the couch and watch your cares drift away in the real flames of your real fire in your real life fireplace... come winter, that is.
I'm sure you're hands are trembling with too much excitement to fill out a rental application. That's alright, it's all online. Contact me about scheduling a visit and filling out an application. If you're not shaking with excitement, check your pulse, you might be an android. If you still have a pulse, here are a bunch more photos of this awesome house.
