As you enter the front gate of The Pittsburgh, it's clear you are somewhere special. These two small buildings make a loving home in the middle of the city. Built in 1907 and restored in the early 00's the warm classing features and modern conveniences strike a creative balance that feels just right for Seattle. Come on upstairs and check it out.

This apartment is 663 square feet it feels huge! It has such a smart layout. The main hallway takes you from the front door, past the bedroom and bathroom to a stunning living room with gas fireplace. As you turn you realize there is a full dining room with built-in cabinets and a full kitchen. One secret you may not notice right away is a built-in washer/dryer combo unit.

The generous windows give you ample light year 'round. Don't worry about it beeing too sunny. This third-floor unit positions you right at tree level. You'll have beautiful dappled light all summer long. Do you need more sunshine in your day? Seattle Center is only a couple blocks away. Spend a day at the park. You're also very close to Belltown, South Lake Union, and the rest of the city.

12-Kitchen01.jpg

While the square footage of the kitchen is small, you have plenty of storage with the open counter-to-ceiling cabinets. There is a full sized stainless steel gas range and refrigerator. This kitchen has something else most Seattle apartments don't, a back door leading to a second staircase. How lovely.

I don't usually use a bathroom photo as a focal point but I love this classic beauty. The subway tile, pedestal sink, and DEEP CLAWFOOT TUB are not common in modern rentals. Your rubber duckie will thank you.

Want to see more photos? Check out the slideshow below. Just start clicking to see more.

As a rental expert, I can tell you, this is still a great value. It's still an honest price, fantastic size, and impeccable location. Give me a call to set up a private tour. You'd better hurry or I might just rent this one myself.

 Everything has it's place.

Everything has it's place.

I'm not going to lie to you: this place is small. It's not for everyone, but if you love small spaces with room to entertain, work from home, and host the occasional guest, then this is the spot. It's also expertly laid out. The owner even hired a consultant to help maximize the apartment's feng shui! There is a lot to love about this small apartment that you won't get from a similarly-priced Micro Apartment. Let me count the ways...

1. It's about 150 square feet larger and is completely private - no sharing bathrooms or kitchens with your neighbors!

2. You have a full bathroom with both a tub and a pretty sweet shower head.

3. Your neighbors are grown ups. This won't feel like living in the dorms.

4. You have full-sized appliances. You can buy groceries up the street at the Farmers Market on Sunday and store and use them all week! You can prepare meals expertly in a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

5. You have your own private, FULL-SIZED washer and dryer! You can do laundry whenever you want. NO COINS! No joke!

 Mmmmm, Stainless Steel Appliances

Mmmmm, Stainless Steel Appliances

Everyone likes to say that their listing is in the heart of it all, but this one seriously is. The Vertigo is expertly placed right behind the Capitol Hill LibraryQFC is across the street, and the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station is a handful of blocks away. The apartment is close to Swedish and HarborviewSeattle Central and Seattle U. You can even walk to downtown, South Lake Union, and all points in between. Don't believe me? Check out the view from the roof top deck!

 Hello Seattle!

Aside from the deck on the roof and the fantastic location, the Vertigo also has a workout room for residents only.

Seattle's Central District is highly coveted for having quiet streets and easy access to downtown. This freshly built Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a rare opportunity to live in a modern setting without having to live in a giant complex.

A cute house in a cute neighborhood.

A cute house in a cute neighborhood.

As you walk in through your private entrance the very first thing you'll notice is the wifi enabled programmable electronic lock. No more fumbling for your keys, just punch in the code. This is only an example of the smart home technology and extra care that was put into designing this urban oasis.

 REAL hardwood floors

REAL hardwood floors

Once you open the door and kick your shoes off, you'll notice the stunning hardwood floors. Ther's an extra secret here you may not notice right away. The floors are heated! That's right radiant heat has been built into the slab to make sure your toes are just the right temperature all year 'round.

How do you control the temperature? By a smart thermostat on the wall of course. You can control the thermostat from anywhere at home or away via wifi. These are the type of smart home features that are usually reserved for homeowners. Let's continue the tour and see why renting this ADU is the best option on the market.

 Fancy kitchen!

Fancy kitchen!

Check out this kitchen. I'll tell you right now, you don't get this much counter space in most new construction one bedroom apartments. You also don't usually get a gas stove with a double oven. All of your cooking and baking projects can come to life in this fancy new kitchen.

Wait, this is a rental?! YES!!

Wait, this is a rental?! YES!!

I'll be honest, I don't usually showcase bathroom photos. I'm putting this one right here to show you. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL NEW CONSTRUCTION APARTMENT. I'm only slightly sorry for the ALL CAPS. Subway tile surround AND an actual bathtub. You can actually get wet in this bathtub. No more plastic shallow tub for you. You deserve better. You can have it HERE. Also, check out those finishes. How cute is the bathroom?

A giant bedroom with a huge window. Not pictured a separate laundry closet!

A giant bedroom with a huge window. Not pictured a separate laundry closet!

I'm going to end this post with a slideshow below of all the other photos. This apartment is really special. The owner took all the care necessary to make this a fantastic home. If you're worried about living under someone, DON'T. The owner made sure to add extra insulation to that noise won't be an issue between you both.

At the time of my writing this, the owner is putting the finishing touches on a private fenced in patio for you to use however you like. Come take a look. Give me a call for a private showing.

Don't become a number in a giant complex. Rent here. Become part of a community. You'll be glad you did.

Let's go back inside. Down the hall from the living and dining rooms are two bedrooms, one has its own private full bathroom. All of the closets on the main floor are cedar lined. RENTED | Royal Crest Penthouse

The Royal Crest Penthouse Has RENTED

IMG_8298.JPG

2100 3rd Ave #2603

$3,995 Per Month

Two Bedrooms / 2.25 Bathrooms

2100 Square Feet

Parking, W/S/G, & Electricity Included

$250 Move-In Fee required by HOA

Your apartment search begins and ends here. This palatial penthouse condo is calling your name. 2100 square feet is plenty of space for entertaining friends. Premium carpets, cherry hardwood floors underfoot, and custom light fixtures will remind you, this isn't your typical high end rental.

You can cook world class meals in this giant kitchen filled with stainless steel appliances. Not just any appliances. These are high end Bosch and Sub-Zero units. There's even wine storage and an induction cook top. Want to kick up your culinary craft? Your new home is blocks away from Pike Place Market. If that's not enough entertainment space, you have three decks on which you can watch the sun set over the Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound, and the Downtown Cityscape.

Let's talk  bathrooms. 2.25, that's a pretty weird number. Here's the breakdown. You have a half bath in the front of the house and a 3/4 bath midway through the apartment. Lastly, you have a cavernous master bathroom that'll leave you feeling calm and rejuvenated every day. A steam shower or Jacuzzi bath will work wonders to wash away a gray Seattle day. The master bathroom has a walk in closet. All the bathrooms have radiant heated marble floors.

Keep scrolling through for gorgeous photos of the bedrooms, views, and living spaces below. The last two things I want to talk about are HOA common areas and walkability. You know what you get here that you won't find in other new construction apartments. A POOL. That's right an outdoor pool you can use any time you want. There is also a workout space and a club room, in case you don't want to entertain in your apartment. Now let's talk walkability. The other apartment buildings will bring up walkability because they don't have parking. Here, 1 covered, secure parking spot is included in the rent. And you'll need it, because you can get anywhere from this condo. I'm a big fan of walking. I like to go for 5 miles as often as I can. Do you know how far you can get if you walk 5 miles from 3rd and Lenora? Name a core Seattle neighborhood and you're there. On top of that, you don't have to ever walk uphill to get home. The Royal Crest has a 99 Walkscore. This means you'll never have to leave your neighborhood, unless you want to. Think about this: you can walk to work. Stop by the market on the way home, or maybe grab happy hour with friends. Head home, cook dinner, and then head right back out for nightlife, art openings, or performances. They are all moments away from your front door. That's a luxury greater than any other.

Give me a call or shoot me an email. I'm happy to give you a private tour of this apartment.

Not only do I help renters find apartments, I help owners become landlords.
