Rented! That is a landlord's favorite word.

Not only do I help renters find apartments, I help owners become landlords.

Over the past three weeks I helped this home's owner navigate all of the steps required to become a first time landlord. A wonderful family from the east coast is moving in May 1st. If you would like more info on how I can help you rent your property, click on the "Help Me Find A Remter" tab to the left. I'll come to your house and discuss how Rent Guru is the best resource for navigating the local rental market.

Apartment Review: Modern Craftsman Duplex

11th Ave E, Capitol Hill, Seattle

Lovely house on Capitol Hill.

Lovely house on Capitol Hill.

I had the pleasure of checking out this great luxury duplex the other day. The layout is awesome. The location is better than most. This is a truly great apartment. Let me walk you through it.

Walking up the front steps, you’ll notice a beautiful front yard up off of 11th Ave. There is a shared front door and entryway. Through the main level entry way is the front door to this apartment. Upon unlocking the door, you enter into a greeting or office space with a coat closet. The design features are modern, environmentally friendly, and awaken this 1920’s craftsman for 2020’s living. The first thing you will notice are the beautiful hardwood floors throughout the house. These floors are sourced from certified sustainable lumber. To the right of the office nook is a large bedroom which has a view of the front yard. It’s shaded by the 100 year old trees of 11th Ave. Turn around and head past the office nook to reveal a large living room with a bright bay window that allows in plenty of light. Passing through the dining room, you enter the kitchen with plenty of space for a dining table. The kitchen features brand new stainless appliances, stone countertops, subway tile backsplashes, and hardwood cabinets. From the kitchen, you can exit to the back patio and fenced yard. You can also pass to the laundry area through, huge full bathroom, and spacious bedroom. The owner has installed a brand new, high efficiency washer and dryer. The bathroom has been remodeled to accommodate all new fixtures and tile.

Here is a slide show of photos.

Other luxury design features include:

    LED Lighting throughout

    High-end light fixtures from Rejuvenation

    New upgraded windows

    Dual flush toilets

    Low and no-VOC paints

Parking and storage also available upon request.

If you want modern, luxury living in the heart of the city, but you don’t want to join one of the big box apartment buildings, this charming duplex is the right answer for you. This is one apartment you will want to enjoy for years to come.

This apartment is for rent right now. Secure it for a July 1st 2014 move in. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get you in contact with the owner.

At this time, they are not accepting pets. (sorry)
