As you enter the front gate of The Pittsburgh, it's clear you are somewhere special. These two small buildings make a loving home in the middle of the city. Built in 1907 and restored in the early 00's the warm classing features and modern conveniences strike a creative balance that feels just right for Seattle. Come on upstairs and check it out.

This apartment is 663 square feet it feels huge! It has such a smart layout. The main hallway takes you from the front door, past the bedroom and bathroom to a stunning living room with gas fireplace. As you turn you realize there is a full dining room with built-in cabinets and a full kitchen. One secret you may not notice right away is a built-in washer/dryer combo unit.

The generous windows give you ample light year 'round. Don't worry about it beeing too sunny. This third-floor unit positions you right at tree level. You'll have beautiful dappled light all summer long. Do you need more sunshine in your day? Seattle Center is only a couple blocks away. Spend a day at the park. You're also very close to Belltown, South Lake Union, and the rest of the city.

12-Kitchen01.jpg

While the square footage of the kitchen is small, you have plenty of storage with the open counter-to-ceiling cabinets. There is a full sized stainless steel gas range and refrigerator. This kitchen has something else most Seattle apartments don't, a back door leading to a second staircase. How lovely.

I don't usually use a bathroom photo as a focal point but I love this classic beauty. The subway tile, pedestal sink, and DEEP CLAWFOOT TUB are not common in modern rentals. Your rubber duckie will thank you.

As a rental expert, I can tell you, this is still a great value. It's still an honest price, fantastic size, and impeccable location. Give me a call to set up a private tour. You'd better hurry or I might just rent this one myself.

Trends in rent prices are completely predictable. Eric Fischer transcribed 30 years worth of "For. Rent" adds from San Francisco newspapers. What he found is pretty amazing. #mytown Li'l Woody's

Mmmmmmmmmm

Mmmmmmmmmm

Everyone has a favorite burger place. Ask most Seattleites and they will knee-jerk-react and shout “Dick's!"

They are wrong. Dick's is good. It is best between 10pm and 2am. It will make you happy when you are drunk. It is not comparable to In-n-Out. Nothing is. If you only eat one burger in Seattle, skip Dick’s, head to Li'l Woody's

When you really crave a burger, you want the Big Woody. Pair with fries (or rings) and a shake. If you're off work, grab a beer. You can't go wrong. Look at this menu and tell me it won't satisfy your burger craving.

Sure, other places are faster. Some are more expensive. Li'l Woody's is the best hamburger spot in the city. They are walk-in only. There is no drivethrough or parking lot. You're gonna have to commit. If you do, you'll be glad you did. If you're like me and enjoy coffee after a big meal, check out one of these great coffee shops.

If you live in Seattle and don't agree with me that Li'l Woody's is the best in Seattle. Let me know. If you're right, I'll feature your pick right here.

Happy Hunting!
